AUCET Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria of AUCET is as follows-

M.Sc. Biochemistry

  • The candidates are required to have B.Sc./B.Sc. (Vocational) Chemistry/ Biochemistry or B.Sc. (Vocational) with Food Science & Quality Control

M.Sc. Biotechnology

  • The candidates are required to have B.Sc./B.Sc. (Vocational) with any two of the following subjects: Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Environmental Sciences, Human Genetics, Fisheries, Aquaculture, and Mathematics or B.Sc. (Vocational) with Food Science & Quality Control

M.Sc. Agricultural Biotechnology offered in Department of Botany & M.Sc. Horticulture & Landscape Management

  • The candidates are required to have B.Sc./B.Sc. (Vocational) with any two of the following subjects: Botany, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Horticulture, Agriculture, Forestry, Genetics, Chemistry, Environmental Sciences, Seed Technology, Zoology or B.Sc. (Vocational) with Food Science and Quality Control or 4 years B.Sc. (Agriculture)

M.Sc. Environmental Sciences

  • The candidates are required to have B.Sc. / B.Sc. (Vocational) with Chemistry and any two of the Life Science Subjects as Optional or B.E.M / B.Sc.(Ag) / B.Sc. (Vocational) with Food Science & Quality Control

M.Sc. Foods, Nutrition & Dietetics

  • The candidates are required to have B. Sc. with any life science subject as one of the subjects in Part-II, or B.Sc. Home Science or B.Sc. (Vocational) Food Science & Quality Control or B. Sc. with Nutrition as one of the subjects

M.Sc. Botany

  • The candidate is required to have B.Sc. Botany with any other two science subjects including vocational subjects.

M.Sc. Human Genetics

The candidate is required to have B.Sc. with any three of the following subjects: Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Genetics, Human Genetics, Biotechnology, Microbiology, and Medical Lab Tech

M.Sc. Marine Biology and Fisheries/ M.Sc. Coastal Aquaculture & Marine Biotechnology/ M.Sc. Marine Biotechnology

  • The candidates are required to have passed B.Sc./B.Sc. Vocational Zoology and any other two science subjects or B.Sc. Fisheries / BFSC

M.Sc. Zoology

  • The candidates are required to have B.Sc./B.Sc. Vocational Zoology and any other two science subjects

M.Sc. Microbiology

  • The candidates are required to have passed B.Sc./B.Sc. M.Sc. Fishery Science

  • The candidates are required to have B.Sc. Zoology and any other two science subjects or B.Sc. with Aquaculture, Fisheries, and Industrial Fisheries

M.Sc. Home Science (2years Self-finance) offered in St. Joseph’s College for Women(A), VSP

  • The candidates are required to have 10+2+3 with Food and Nutrition / Food Technology or Composite/General Home Science at B.Sc. level / B.Sc. with Chemistry and Life Sciences

M.Sc. Anthropology offered in Department of Anthropology, Arts College

  • The candidates are required to have B.Sc. in any Life Science subject

M.Sc. Physics/ M.Sc. Space Physics/ M.Sc. Nuclear Physics/M.Sc.(Tech.)/ Geophysics (3 years duration) or M.Sc. Marine Geophysics

  • The candidate is required to have a valid course B.Sc. with Physics, Mathematics, and any other non-biological science subject

M.Sc. Meteorology/M.Sc. Physical Oceanography

  • The candidates are required to have B.Sc. in Physics and Mathematics

M.Sc. Electronics (Instrumentation)

  • The candidates are required to have B.Sc., with Electronics, Mathematics and any other subject or B.Sc. Mathematics, Physics and any other subject with P.G. Diploma in Electronics, P.G. Diploma in Instrumentation

M.Sc. Applied Mathematics

  • The candidate is required to have B.Sc. Mathematics and Physics/ B.Sc. Mathematics with Physical Sciences in Intermediate or 10+2 level

M.A./M.Sc. Mathematics/ M.Sc. Computer Science – (2 year Evening Course?

  • The candidates are required to have the intermediate examination of the state of A.P. with Mathematics as a core subject at 10+2 level, and should have either:
    • Three-year B.Sc. degree program with Mathematics and computer science
    • Three year B.C.A. degree program recognized by AU

Analytical Chemistry/ Bio-Inorganic Chemistry/ Environmental Chemistry/ Inorganic Chemistry/ Chemistry and Analysis of Foods, Drugs & Water/ Organic Chemistry/ Marine Chemistry/Nuclear Chemistry

  • The candidate Is required M.Sc. Applied Chemistry – offered in Department of Engineering Chemistry – AUCE(A)              B.Sc. /B.Sc. Vocational Chemistry / Applied Chemistry / Industrial Chemistry as one of the subjects

M.Sc. Applied Chemistry – offered in Department of Engineering Chemistry – AUCE(A)

  • The candidate is required to have B.Sc. /B.Sc. Vocational Chemistry / Applied Chemistry / Industrial Chemistry as one of the subjects

M.Sc. Geology

  • The candidate is required to have B.Sc. with Geology with any other two subjects

M.Sc. Tech. Applied Geology (3years duration)

  • The candidate is required to have B.Sc. Geology with any two of the following subjects; Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Mineral beneficiation, and Materials Handling.

M.Sc. Statistics

  • The candidate is required to have B.Sc. Geology with any two of the following subjects; Mathematics, Physics, etc.

M.Sc. Statistics with Computer Science offered in the Department of Statistics

  • The candidate is required to have B.Sc./B.A with both Statistics and Mathematics

AUCET Admission Process

The admission into the university is merit-based, you have to take admission only after passing the entrance examination. The candidate who successfully clears the entrance examination will be offered the admission seat. If the candidate fails then another attempt is allowed. A merit list of all the participants who have cleared the entrance examination will be offered a job profile in any bank.

AUCET Application Form Process

The following are the application form filling step by step method-

  • Visit the official website of Andhra University and navigate to the Admission section and click on the directate of Admission button
  • Now, click on the AUCET 2023 button followed by registering yourself using your email ID, Phone number and password
  • After registration is compelte, you have to log into the website using your login credentials
  • Now, a form will apper where you have to enter all your details with correct details and click on the next button
  • After that, you have to upload the documents mentioned below and click on the submit button
  • Now, you have to pay the application form fee using your credit/debit card, UPI, Net banking, etc.
  • Make sure, you’ve taken a printout of the application form and payment receipt for future use

Documents required for Andhra AUCET Admission

The following are the list of documents required for Andhra AUCET Admission-

  • Scanned Passport Size photograph under 1 MB
  • Scanned copy of class  10th, passed certificate/ Mark Sheet showcasing all the marks obtained in the subjects
  • Graduation Degree/ Mark Sheet
  • Aadhar Card

The application fee for the AUCET entrance examination is as follows-

AUCET Counselling

Counselling is an event where the candidates who have successfully passed the entrance examination will be commenced and offered admission into the university. For participating in the counselling event that candidate has to re-register themselves for the counselling session and a separate counselling letter will be provided for printout. In this process, all the documents relevant for admission will be verified. The candidate must carry two sets of xerox copies of the documents as well.
