ILICAT Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria of ILICAT is as follows-

  • The candidate must be a citizen of India
  • Ph.D. in Law- Candidate must hold a LL.M Degree form a recognized Institution recognized by Bar Council of India or Association of Indian University Guidelines with a minimum of 55% marks
  • LLM- Candidate must have passed from 12th from a recognized board with minimum of 50% marks
  • PG Diploma- Those with a graduate degree from a recognized University can apply. For PG Diploma in Labour Laws the minimum requirement is LL.B/ M.A. in Social Sciences (II Division)

ILICAT Admission Process

The Application form of ILICAT Law University can be filled online. The following are the steps by step application process-

  • Visit the official website of the ILICAT- https://www.ili.ac.in/
  • Click on the ‘New Candidate Registration’ and start filling in the required details like email ID password etc.
  • Now, verify the email by clicking on the verification link send by Karnataka CET
  • Now, Log in to your account and click on the apply button
  • A form will appear, fill the form with correct information
  • Now upload your scanned passport size photograph
  • Now you have to upload the scanned copy of all the certificates and documents mentioned below
  • Now a payment gateway will open where you have to pay the application fee using Credit/Debit, UPI, Net Banking, or challan
  • Take a print out of the payment confirmation slip and the application for future uses

Documents required for ILICAT

The following are the list of documents required for ILICAT Law University-

  • Scanned Passport Size photograph under 1 MB
  • Scanned copy of class  10th, passed certificate/ Mark Sheet showcasing all the marks obtained in the subjects
  • Degree in Law for UG Course
  • Aadhar Card

ILICAT Counselling

ILICAT Counselling is an event where the institute invite the candidate for blocking the seat for the candidate in the course. The candidates have to carry the essential document listed below for document verification along with the original the candidate has to carry Xerox copy as well.

Document Required for ILICAT Counselling

The following are the document that you have to carry when visiting the Counselling session-

  • Class 10 /high school or its equivalent examination certificate
  • Class 12 marks sheet/ grade sheet or equivalent qualifying
  • 10 recent colour photographs
  • Migration/ transfer/ character certificate from the last attended institution
  • SC/ST/OBC Category certificates (if any)
  • Two oath commissioner’s affidavit on plain paper – one on candidate’s behalf and other on behalf of candidate’s parents/guardian (regarding not-indulgence in ragging)
  • Admission fee payment at the cash counter of the admission venue either in cash or through bank demand draft (DD) from a nationalized bank
